What changes

The app icon (Finder, DMG window, Launchpad) is now minimal: the same three-star glyph as the menu bar, in ink (#1d1d1f) on a pale glass squircle. It replaces the indigo night-sky constellation, which no longer fit the calmer v2 look.

  • scripts/make-icon.swift draws the glyph on its 16pt grid and scales it up on Apple's 1024pt icon grid, so it stays in proportion with the menu bar.
  • Background is a near-white to cool-grey gradient with a hairline edge and a bright inner rim; the drop shadow is softer.
  • Still drawn in code at build time, so there are no image files in the repo.

Testing

scripts/make-icon.swift only runs on macOS; it's exercised by scripts/build-app.sh and the release workflow.

Replaces the night-sky constellation with the three-star menu bar glyph in
ink on a near-white squircle, matching the calmer v2 look.
